Episode 39: This [is] Happening for Me

Summer hours are in full swing, but the [ir]Regulars are back after a week break with some exciting [and slightly toxic] life updates! Spoiler alert: Bobby still can't get a text back and Kaity blacked out again. Some real groundbreaking sh*t. ANYWAY... joining us from across the country in this week's episode is teacher, turned nanny, turned feature-film actress, Ashley. Lansdale native and long time friend of Bobby and Kaity, Ashley takes us along her journey from PA to LA, juggling multiple jobs in pursuit of her dream to be on screen. Working alongside A-Listers like Eddie Murphy and so many more, Ashley talks about life in the industry, what goes on behind the camera, and how she stays grounded and focused on her goal to see her name in lights.

A Montgomery County native turned chart-topping pop star nearly overnight, Liz talks about her struggle to remain authentic in a social media saturated world and the challenges that the internet has created for artists today. Liz opens up about her own mental health story and how she uses her alter ego ROZES to connect with people who are facing similar battles. From song writing to OCD to Instagram algorithms and so much more, we cover it all in this week's episode, proving every rose has its thorn.

Episode 36: Here Lies: [Shame]

Shame and stigma are dead and the [ir]Regulars f**king killed them. In this episode, we’re putting the [fun] in [fun]eral. Joining us to speak at the service - all the way from Phoenix, Arizona for our first episode ever recorded remotely - is Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Janelle Hettick. Janelle shares her own experiences with mental health disorders and sheds light on what it’s like to provide therapy for others while also being in therapy herself [and with her husband]. In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, Janelle explains how we can all work together to end the stigma and put the shame around mental health disorders to rest, once and for all.

Episode 35: The [Shadow] Realm

As Mental Health Awareness Month continues, the [ir]Regulars decide to get personal about their own experiences with depression and anxiety. From medication, therapy and even suicidal ideation, Bobby and Kaity discuss mental health from their lens and what the journey to a more grounded and gratitude-based life has been like for them.

Episode 34: Your [Life], Heart [Support]

"Be who you think you are." ...inspirational, or terrifying? At The Your Life Gym, this is a question that will define much more than your workout. Joining the [ir]Regulars in this highly anticipated episode are founder, Jake Luhrs, and Fitness Director, Joel Chandler, like-minded souls with a passion for mental health, spirituality and physical fitness. To kick off mental health awareness month, Jake walks us through his dream of The Your Life Gym - the first and only mental and physical health gym of its kind - and shares how teaming up with key players like Joel and Jake's non-profit, Heart Support, brought his vision to life in ways that he never imagined possible.

No words can do justice to the impact of the message that Jake and Joel have to share with us in this episode. If you're in a funk and you're looking for a sign - just trust us, this is it.

Episode 33: Searching for [Me]

All the way from Utah, the [ir]Regulars are joined by Mike - Bobby's childhood best friend and Kaity's senior prom date. Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs, Mike was your average bro. So it came as quite a shock to Bobby, Kaity and the rest of the tri-state area when Mike posted a photo of him and his now husband on social media just a few years after graduating college. In this episode, Mike opens up about his sexuality and what it was like growing up hiding it. He walks us through his journey of eventually coming out and shares what life looks like now that he is finally free... and no longer searching for himself.

Episode 32: I Love You [Dude]

When's the last time you heard a man tell another man that he loves him, in a nonromantic relationship? In this episode, we welcome back Joe [former guest from episode 11] to talk about male appreciation and why [as a man] it's just as important to gas up and love on your homies as it is for women. The [ir]Regulars dig deep and discuss the impact of father/son relationships, childhood trauma and much more as Joe opens up about one of the darkest times in his life and how a little bro love was the light that guided him to a brighter tomorrow.

Episode 31: You Are [Worthy]

The big "D"... we're talking about it. The "d" word that tends to make most people under the age of 30 uncomfortable to say the least. In this episode, we meet Brittany who's had a painful, first-hand experience with it. That's right ladies and gentlemen, we're talking about divorce. At 24 years old, this week's guest found herself a single mother married to a master manipulator with an alcohol addiction. Brittany opens up to the [ir]Regulars about her journey to independence at such a young age and learning once and for all that she is worthy.
